Quick and Easy Yeast Rolls

Quick and Easy Yeast Rolls

1 package dry yeast

¾ cup warm water

2 Tablespoons sugar

2 Tablespoons oil

1 egg

2 ½ to 2 ¾ cups flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add Sugar, oil, egg, and 1 cup of flour to yeast mixture. Stir well. Cover with a towel and let rise for 20 minutes. Add enough remaining flour to turnout on breadboard. Knead and divide into 16 pieces and shape into balls. Place in greased 9 X 9 inch pan. Let rise for 25 minutes. Bake in heated 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Butter tops of rolls when hot from the oven. Serve with butter and the Grandma Cooky jam of your choice.

This is the recipe that has made me very popular with family and church friends. You will receive rave reviews!
